AAFS dedicates Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day to service at local hospital

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is remembered for saying “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: What are you doing for others?” To commemorate the social activism of Dr. King, Arab American Family Services (AAFS) is dedicating Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on January 15 to a day of service for Advocate Christ Children’s Hospital. The service project, titled “Share the Warmth,” brings AAFS Youth together to make and distribute blankets to families in need at the hospital. The goal is for participants to both learn about and actively uphold Dr. King’s commitment to service by providing support to families in need.

Please support this project by donating $10 or more to AAFS today! You can donate online or by phone at (708) 599-2237.
