AAFS to Participate in the 13th National Arab American Service Day!

Join us as we participate in the 13th Nation Arab American Service Day, on Saturday, May 13, 2017.

Join us as we participate in the 13th National Arab American Service Day, hosted by the National Network for Arab American Communities (NNAAC). Much like Arab American Family Services, NNAAC works to engage Arab Americans in community service to create stronger communities and make connections among neighbors.

National Arab American Service Day encourages Arab American communities to give back through service, fostering a culture of leadership, community engagement, and volunteerism. Held in the spring of each year, organizations from various cities establish local partnerships and organize unique projects under the motto of “Serving Communities, Connecting People.”

This year, AAFS will be going to the Family Shelter Service for healing victims of domestic abuse. Projects include cleaning inside of the shelters and outdoor gardening.
