AAFS Takes Part in Rohingya Cultural Center Winter Clothe Drive

Arab American Family Services was proud to team up with the Benedictine University Students for the Justice of Palestine to help donate winter clothes for the Rohingya Refugee Cultural Center. Through the assistance of AAFS Fellow Helwas Saleh, winter clothes including coats, jackets, blankets, boots and sweaters were donated to help many of Rohingya’s refugees who know call Chicago home. AAFS Turkey Drive Proves to be a Success

Arab American Family Services wants to thank everyone who took the time and effort to donate to the AAFS Annual Turkey Drive. Thanks to you, we were able to receive close to 100 turkeys, along with canned goods and all the trimmings! This is definitely the time to give and you came out in a big way. With these generous donations, we were able to help many families in the community who are less fortunate. As part of our Senior Congregate Meal Program, Arab American Family Services is looking at additional ways to bring our senior citizen community together and give them the chance to enjoy different events.
